Your sources gives no indications that it was a world power like British Empire. And it only hints that it was pushed to world statues.

Again America was really a world power after WW2. It depends how you define "world power". I must be thinking superpower to be honest. But it doesn't deflate my argument because the British Empire was a Superpower and not America and thus during that time the British Empire was more powerful.

IIRC China is a world power but its not a superpower like the USA.

Once again, learn the definition of "remain". For US to "remain" a superpower, they had to be 1 prior to WW2

What??? I said REGIONAL power. As in the AMERICAS. Not WORLD power. America didn't become a WORLD power until WW2 not WW1. Britain was still the biggest empire the world has seen even after WW1...And Haiti reducing French control in the Americas is still a big feat. Considering at the time France was much more powerful than Spain or America.

I see know call for operational definition in this post. you didn't bring that up til I posted my sources
