I've had steaks cooked from blue to super ultra well done, basically charred. It's possible to cook the steak until medium well or well done and retain the flavours and juices but it's tougher and tends to be dryer more often than not.
Give me a average quality medium/medium rare over a good quality well done. Fry it with garlic butter and red, black and white pepper with a lil salt.. with some buttery garlic creamy mashed potatoes and some crunchy broccoli stir fried with garlic :balladshaq::dayumxdayummayne:

But then again it's all up to personal taste, whatever you wanna eat is your choice
even if you wanna eat straight up raw steak or bite a chunk off a damn cow
I'll still give you a lil side eye if I'm sitting near you at a restaurant and hear you say 'well done' though.
