to be honest, most well cooked meat NOT ON THE GRILL, tastes like shyt... especially when cooked in restaurants. it's like they purposely fukk it up and make it extra tough cause you said well done

i've noticed asking for a medium steak usually gets me the best flavor without any blood on my plate

ive had Kobe steak in Japan :wow:

although, the best for a big cooked steak is normal wagyu done medium :ohlawd:. You can get them in US in s few places, set you back $50 to $100 though

Eh, the higher quality steaks are best cooked medium rare/medium. Trust me I used to be on that well-done wave in my 20's, but after going out to a few steak dinners for work at places where the steaks are $50 dollars plus (not that I do that all the time mind you) I realized a quality cut of beef has so much more to contribute in terms of complexity and flavor.

Up until 2 years ago everything was well done.

I went to a Brazilian steakhouse and figured I'll walk on the wild side and try medium.

That shyt was juicy and tasty as fukk! I'm a medium chick - farthest I'll go is medium rare now.
