I live in the south so we have them giant bugs that sound like motor boat engines. No lie, I freak out if one is flying around all crazy, we get moths big an wide as footballs that are completely still until you have to go past then they want to wild out..

spiders and hornets and stuff are the norm, but them fire ant's will get your mind right everytime. You might not like em but you'll respect em.

what you have to remember is that the average spider will not bite you...their fangs are not strong enough to pierce human skin...so if it did bite you it would probably die of starvation before it's not molt...spraying some raid in the corners of your house / garage / storeroom / generally keeps them away

i used to keep tarantula's...once i move out this condo to a house i plan on doing so again

so tarantulas don't bite?? they've got some pretty big fangs no?
here in Texas we have the "Brown Recluse" extremely poisonous. i know lady that got bitten by one in her sleep. a few days later she almost had to have her foot amputated below the ankle. (they managed to saved her foot barely...she has a ridiculous "hole" from where they had to cut away the rotten flesh)

I was house sitting for my sister, was chillin on the couch and grabbed the nice fuzzy warm looking blanket, there was some poisonous looking giant spider just chilling on it blending in, scared the living shyt out of me, threw the blanket on the floor, got one of my shoes and it took like 6 hard smacks to kill it completely
