It took him 3 years breh. Look at his 2008 and 2009 numbers. look at his playoff loss in 2010. He exceeded my and many expectations when he started. You acting like he barely started beasting.

Five years. First three behind Farve.

90% of the league knows how to throw a ball. That doesnt mean its gonna be accurate. How u gonna teach a QB to fit balls in tight areas? u cant. Matter of fact they teach you NOT to throw in those areas. lol

And mobility depends on your athleticism. Yeah they tell u to run out the pocket but that doesnt mean its gonna be successful

Calm down? im having a convo here with you,not arguing or typing mad breh

I am little tipsy. Sorry about the calm down. lol..

Like you say 90% of the league can throw the ball. But how many of them work on there mechanics like a Rodgers or a Brady? Which leads them to fit it in tight pockets?

Running out the pocket I think was reach by me. That is more instinct and athleticism then coaching.

All I was trying to say is that a Rodgers goes the extra mile. And has the drive few QB's have. That is all. Reading your posts, I am agreeing with them for the most part..

shyt, you can say the Top 20. I was listening to the radio the other day, and they ran down all the names picked before ARod, and it's amazing how bad that first round was.

And I c/s @bboystyle, in that I really wasn't feeling the pick at all. Me, my bro and pops were talking when we took him, and we were all pretty confused. We all knew Brett wasn't done by any stretch, and were kinda pissed that we "wasted" a first round pick on someone that wouldn't be contributing any time soon. Of course, now it's a brilliant move, and who knows where we'd be had we chosen someone else.

Also, most ppl (re: non Packer fans) won't remember, but ARod was God AWFUL in any live action early on. He was terrible in Family Nights (Scrimmages), in the Pre-Season, and in any mop up duty he did. Then Brett got hurt against the Cowboys in '07, and Rodgers came in and played pretty damn good.

I remember everyone saying the only reason he played good was cause Dallas wasn't prepared for him. Of course that was Brett's last year here, Rodgers took over, and I guess the rest is history.

Yall realize that Rodgers inherited a team that was one game away from the SB the year before right?

He probably wouldn't have been the same if he was on the Raiders.

So. Cal

Like most things, it was a perfect storm of things that led to this situation.

Yup clearly any QB could've came in and won the SB 3 years later like Rodgers did :usure:

our 13-3 season was a soft schedule. Dont let that record fool you. The past 2 years we we're a losing team.

I see you edited your shyt breh

I actually suggested the absolute opposite of this. And I meant everything I said, just the edited way is a better way of saying it.

Soft schedule or no....one game from the SB is one game from the SB. There was quite a bit of talent on that team either way.

rodgers didnt rely on much physical talent at cal. besides having a decent arm and decent mobility he really was a good qb at cal. I tell you that as someone who watched nearly every single cal game over that period of time, if it was televised.

jawalrus, from what I seen, I was never as impressed in college. admittedly, I only saw a few games of his. but bowe stood out to me far more than jawalrus. I was actually wanting the niners to take bowe that year :noah:

Roddy really was a bum until Joe Horn taught him how to really maximize his potential and be a professional. People in ATL used to call you Roddy White if you had butter fingers. He really changed his image.

This. I remember when Roddie would drop everything.
