Why did the Pusha T/Drake beef seem to get so much more attention than Budden/Drake?

the cast of characters were higher profile and Pusha has had a vendetta against YMCMB for over a decade. When Joe dissed Drake it came off like Joe was trying to bait him into something out of the blue.

He had a profile in the NY Times, 3rd biggest newspaper in the US and billboards in times square.

They're getting ready to pay attention.

bro's music will never be for everybody. way too emotional, way too dark at times, rough around the edges.

and it paid off. he's maintained a decent following for years and only grew as social media did. happy he found something he can prosper in outside of music. hopefully other rappers take notice.

trying to figure out how pusha T is a bigger name than joe budden.
Musically he is tho. Joe been relevant this past decade mainly for fukkery (wu, who killed hip hop, love in hip hop, joe budden tv, tahiri, ransom slapping up his man)

But none of his music(some of it was great btw) really had any impact

Pusha's features are bigger than Budden's entire career...are you joking?

hes just the hood rapper guy on the song to the average outsider.

I remember that one Kanye song where pusha wasn't even in the video, and they just showed a bunch of balet dancers during his verse.
