Yeah his money started drying up when Vito got killed Vito was his biggest earner so he knew Carmela had that money. He was so powerless he even had Hesh shook because he owed Hesh a lot of money and Hesh wanted it.

This is the one time Carmela did something and the only reason Tony helped was because Carmela was asking about Adriana so Tony needed her to get back to work on the house.
