why can't DC films be like the DC cartoons of 90s/early 2000s

The 90s/00s cartoon were fun, funny, and didn’t try to hard to be cool or take itself too seriously.

Everything they were or did in the past is now looked at as signature thing of their competition and they look down on I like the competitors built the wheel

Assault on Arkham was 10000x better than the Suicide Squad, mostly because they decided to put some trash characters in vs. a trash villain. AOA was better than SS because it had a grounded mission. Every single plot in the DCEU has been world ending. It gets tiring.

dc has always been criticized.
you really don't know wtf you talembout as far as dc is concerned.
if you say people who bought tickets and dvd's don't give a fukk.
dc, is the one company with every talking point made to fix this.
as no stone has been unturned in this dialogue.
dc just chooses to play revenue grab games with batman and supes.
while thinking it can never die..when the draw for them has been and could have died numerous times.

dc has never been a believeable brand but once in this gen.
that was after the 89 batman, of which they had gold in the batman tas, and even a superman relaunch and jl cartoon relaunch.

yet, they jagged't it all by giving into wanting the spreadsheet return from adam west style batman.
thus ruining it trying to chase that aesthetic in the post burton schumacher era.
plus previously hammed'd up superman so horrifically. he would have never recovered without the batman tas series to create a look for superman to run with.
which required a later reboot by nolan.
after a failed reboot by then xmen director on superman as well.

of which,..once again dc has ruined yet again.

i buy tickets, dvd's and used to collect comics.
dc just chooses to not hear the complaints and that is why they have failed this entire gen.

In their first appearance in they were put together to take out this massive creature made of fire named brimstone. If I remember correctly, Brimstone was a creature created by Darkseid's people.

I don't need the movies to copy the comics exactly. I see them as an elseworlds/what if? type of story.

Me personally, I like the different takes MCU, and DCEU takes. The only ones that have been meh for the most part have been the X-Men films by Fox.
