No to the average guy he is strong, to a experienced weightlifter he's decent. Guys like Hart size have an easier time benching because their arms are so short,so 3 reps of 225 is decent

I bet all the post about tall guys making excuses are made by nikkas under 5'8.

It's what short people do.

For all my tall brehs struggling with bench gains this method worked for me.

I used a the 4 2 1 tempo method using a weight I could do 12reps with easy.

I also stopped going below parallel

4 seconds on the way down

Hold at parallel for 2 seconds

Explode up

Parallel for me means I don't touch my chest with the bar. A big no no for some, but it help me increase me bench.

Don't worry brehs after my little experiment I went back to below parallel.

Been lifting 220 + since I was 14 and im 5'7 on a good day. Come to think of it in high school most of the 130lbs soaking wet dudes could bench of 200lbs. The is no feat.

Excellent for his size, good range of motion too but 225 at ten reps is intermediate level imo. I'm trying to someday hit 405

10 reps of 225 isnt intermediate, that's advanced breh.

Go look at the nfl combine stats and you will see lots of defensive backs in that 7-12 rep range. These are pro athletes who weigh 180-210
