Why is it called the frirndzone when what the make is doing is the opposite if a friendship.

It's probably been said already......but here's my theory.
Dudes are taught from a young age to honor and respect and put females on this invisible pedestal......no matter what.
Females are taught from a very young age that they are princesses and queens.
This combination blurs the vision of the male.
To me, that means most dudes will blindly do things for females to win their favor.
And most females will allow this to happen for as long as possible because they feel entitled.
The dude is thinking, "Sooner or later, she will see how awesomely charitable I am and fall in love with me."
The female knows what's happening. She has that "a$$hole" boyfriend, but she does like to receive "free" shyt from the friendzone victim.

Honestly, treating a female with a small dose of decency in any instance is the perfect way to turn off a female with the quickness. But treating her like total shyt turns her on and furthermore, she will have the utmost respect for you. I know there are women who will deny this pattern, but the proof is in their actions to what they positively respond to and clearly, they do not want to be treated with decency period. So, guys need to acknowledge this and adapt accordingly.
You can treat a woman kindly, and also have a spine and backbone. The two arent mutually exclusive.
Lets keep it real, cats aren't being "nice" to a female out of the goodness of their heart in this scenario. They are doing it to get up in them guts, and being nice is the strategy they're going with. Lets not act like the man in this situation is acting altruistic. Both parties are self-interested.

I agree with the second portion of your post. However, it should be noted there are genuinely respectful dudes who were raised to be that way (kindness/respectfulness and niceness are not the same because niceness by definition is naivety) and thought that being respectful to everyone in general was a good thing, but encountered females moreso than dudes who would try to take their respectfulness for weakness.
