If anyone wants to know why some people have an issue with Cole it's basically this. He's portrayed as a wrestler and character that it's hard/impossible for some of us to suspend disbelief and buy him as that kind of performer. He wrestles like he's a mix of a hoss and a baddass but he doesn't look like first one nor executes like the second one.

Having said all that, all of us who don't care for Cole are clearly a minority. Dude is very over and the core fanbase of AEW sees him as a great wrestler and character so let's not act like we are some kind of majority or "everyone hates him" or some shyt like that

Oh no, I have my "I Like Cole" moments when he was a shytlord, but now I just can't for the love of me look past his Chuggs Twitch channel steez .

I'm kinda the opposite, growing up as a youngin' seeing all of the larger guys I've noticed that they are very limited in what they can do in the ring. It was always the smaller guys and average looking guys that always worked harder and was more talented in my eyes hence why child me never cared for roided out Hoegan and Warrior but loved smaller guys like The Rockers and out of shape guys like Dusty Rhodes and Bam Bam Bigelow.

Even when I got older I stan'd for guys that were deemed smaller like Bret Hart and HBK rather than the larger guys that botched alot. I don't know... I'm just juelzin' at this point but that's my opinion on the matter.

I dig it. Its not like I have a big guy fetish because most of my GOATs are average size.

Most of my favorite wrestlers are on the smaller side (Danielson, styles, Eddie, hbk, Bret, etc) but they look like giants next to Cole

Like Cole is legit embarrassing and his matches suck because he’s often in control and it’s just not believable
