We need to learn to draw upon this same strength to fuel other endeavors. Being able to take punishment is good...but we need to learn how to dish it out as well. Maybe that's why other races, while seemingly weak of conviction, still maintain superiority over us? Maybe we focus too much on suppressing fear and pain. Maybe we need to be more offensive....

Don't fall into the propaganda that black people have ALWAYS been oppressed breh. Our oppression began primarily with the creation of advanced weaponry (guns/bombs/etc). Before that Africa prospered. Up until the 1500-1600's we had great African empires like the Mali and Songhai empire in west Africa.
Our oppression is relatively new. We definitely need to use learn from the past to and definitely need to be more proactive.
