I don't get your point. The article talks about how the unemployment rate is basically stagnant for black women.
And they still are being employed at a higher rate than other groups so how is that proof?

Are they? I didn't know that. And they still are being employed at a higher rate than other groups so how is that proof?
" As the number of women incarcerated has increased by 800 percent over the last three decades, women of color have been disproportionately represented. While the number of women incarcerated is relatively low, the racial and ethnic disparities are startling. African American women are three times more likely than white women to be incarcerated, while Hispanic women are 69 percent more likely than white women to be incarcerated."
"Once convicted, black offenders receive longer sentences compared to white offenders. The U.S. Sentencing Commission stated that in the federal system black offenders receive sentences that are 10 percent longer than white offenders for the same crimes. The Sentencing Project reports that African Americans are 21 percent more likely to receive mandatory-minimum sentences than white defendants and are 20 percent more like to be sentenced to prison." (I know it doesn't mention gender but the above basically says the same thing).
"African-American women are the only demographic in the United States whose unemployment rate has not improved over the past year, according to a National Women's Law Center analysis of the latest jobs data." Here's another article mentioning the same as the above quote in more detail: http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/in-plain-sight/dying-out-here-u-s-job-gains-leave-black-women-n202376
This is what I have for now, I'll try to find some more in the mean time @Easy-E
African American women earned more than half of all science and engineering degrees completed by African Americans—surpassing their male counterparts.
African American-owned businesses are the fastest-growing segment of the women-owned business market and are starting up at a rate six times higher than the national average.
That's better, but, like I said; black men are being railroaded by the criminal justice system.
While black women have bad jobs numbers (which is killin' black folk, as a whole):
http://www.americanprogress.org/iss...-african-american-women-in-the-united-states/
And all your numbers are comparing black women to white women, who got it better than EVERYBODY who ain't a white man.
Where's your proof of that? And they still are being employed at a higher rate than other groups so how is that proof?
I wasn't trying to argue that black men weren't being railroad, I've already said multiple times black men have it worst which is why we're debating black women have it SECOND worst. So who should I compare these numbers to? Asian and Hispanic women? You do know most stats compare white men to black men correct, so it would only be better to compare black women (second most targeted group) to white women (second most privileged group).
Where's your proof of that?
So just tell me who has it worse than and back it up . I'm willing to listen and hear it you, I mean, I've held up my end of the bargain.The fact of the matter is;
Black women have a lot goin' for them, despite what they are going through. You can't say the same for a lot of other groups.
I've been spurred to do more research, but, the only point your making is; black women have it worst than white women. You win that one.
"Worst," "Second Worst," it's all hyperbole, to me. You don't just grab a bunch of negative news stories and statistics and say; this is the state of Black (Female) America.
Yes, a lot of it is horrible and unfortunate.
Some of the stuff is misleading and incomplete. (ex. unemployment numbers)
Some of it isn't exclusive to one group, even in it's severity (ex. the Asian population is much smaller than the black)
Some of the stuff--and you may not want to hear this--are self inflicted wounds. (ex. almost 3/4 of black kids are born to single parents--that would definitely effect your earning potential)
You take a lot of this into consideration and it doesn't add up to what you are trying to state.
Please, don't zero in on any one part of my many posts, in this thread. My want is to uplift.
I don't see the positive in a defeatist attitude toward the state of black women. Especially
I'll be back.So just tell me who has it worse than and back it up . I'm willing to listen and hear it you, I mean, I've held up my end of the bargain.
African-American women age 20 or older are unemployed, unchanged from a year ago, according to Friday’s jobs report from the Labor Department.Where?

unemployment for adult Hispanic women rose to 8.1 percent from 7.7 percent.
The unemployment for adult African-American men declined to 10.8 percent from 13.4 percent a year ago.
I'm confused. Are you trying to make this into a positive for BW?
