First of Cuba has dealt with a dictator ship like countries I stated above (which limits social progress for obvious reasons)
In reality Cuba is not really racist like Brazil, we have national heroes, and celebs that are black and in everyday life you rarely encounter it like you do in America
Education and healthcare is great and equal (one of the few third world countries where people from EU come to study science and medicine)
Actually in Cuba you can get great and equal education for free
We have black scholars, doctors and in about every profession

If Cuba was 100% democratic we'd easily have a black president by now.

but my theory is that the coli saying that "cacs are gonna cac" is correct in analyzing the history of the americas, and the same people that founded the united states of america are the same people that founded most countries in latin america, people from the island of england and people from the iberian peninsula are the same people from the point of view of the african slave, the descendant of african slaves in the us were able to exploit legal mechanisms that did not exist in other parts of the americas and also the us is wealthier, those 2 things explain the greater public presence of blacks in the us compared to other parts of the america

I did not mean the problem does not exist, in the racism aspect we are one of the more integrated counties in Latin America.
You have to understand when Europeans settled the Americas..
In their mind it was their god given right to conquer those places and be the rightful owner of anything they found there (including people)
Salves were bought from Africa and that's basically how it started.
Spain even had the pope write a letter to the queen blessing their trips and validating what they were doing

Argentina is a special case though
Their level of racism is unmatched on the continent. They don't just hate blacks, they hate all the natives too (if you're not of European descent, you're a "negro" there). They see themselves as the Europeans of South America (a lot of them are of Italian descent)... Even though they're not even rich (Brazil is far richer).
That's why they are so hated all over the continent... Most of South America was rooting for Germany in the World Cup final
