I will also add that while I sympathize with Americans who are depressed (Especially, the 99% who have been screwed over with their labor jobs). The real ones who should feel depressed are the ones in the third world countries and Middle-East. Because our foreign policy which has been disastrous for over five decades has put innocent civilians at risk. Those guys also want to live a normal productive life, but can't. Just like in Venezuela and Honduras. While Americans citizens face domestic problems here at home. We live like kings and queens compared to our counterparts in third world countries. However, we DO HAVE a lot of issues that we must work on here at home. Like, creating a JUST system that works FOR ALL. No matter what economic or racial bracket you fall under.

But, the Baby Boomers decided their 401Ks and retirement plans were more important than the future of the coutnry and they basically sold us all off into debt slavery to Wall Street. Richest country in the world with the shyttiest health care system and infrastructure of other nations on our level. Mad debt propping up our lifestyles so BBers can keep flipping those dividends and driving $300K RVs. People forced to do the jobs of 2-3 people

I think that wealth might bring another set of stresses, because now you are stressed about how to keep it; when you know that a lot of crooked ass people (business promoters, bankers, lawyers, accountants, stock brokers) are all out to get it. Basically you are a marked man and you have no clue who is coming at you to get it.

To me it is all a chase for vanity. I think that it is a sickness to see people accumulating hundreds of millions and billions of dollars. Why do they need so much money? Why does a person need six cars, when they can only drive one car at a time? Why does a person need five homes, when they can only live in one house at a time. A lot of Americans have a twisted and perverted value system where greed is admired trait, but being poor is frowned upon. When greed is held as a valued trait then people will do anything; and I mean anything to get money and that is when the town idiot clown fool like Donald Trump is admired by millions of people. Greed is the reason behind most of the atrocities in the Americas (slavery, murder of natives, etc) and even now the people that benefited from it find no happiness.

When you are poor nobody marks you. In fact they don't want your broke ass around, because you can not do anything for them. It is in your poverty that GOD gave you something that can not even have a value put on it: Peace of mind.

It's nice havent peace of mind and lowered expectations but it sucks that we cannot function on a greater scale without finances... And I'd take the stresses of being rich then being broke anyday...

And your partially right a person doesnt need 6 cars and multiple homes There are those that are rich that sustain being rich by accumulating more wealth but they have no idea of when to stop or how to give back...

Like I said they will never switch places with a guy like me even if it meant happiness... They'd rather be rich and miserable then to be broke and happy... And I am content sometimes but I do wish my money was stronger to not have to deal with working or being stressed out or dealing with the outside world on that scale which aggravates me to no end. The amount of bullshyt we put up with in our lives to get a buck to support ourselves is ridiculous.

Well those dumbasses were brainwashed to think treating employees and other with respect and common decency is weakness. Plus it's also selfish in it, a lot of racist people don't want minorities to have benefits so they'll cut their nose off to spite their face.

Social media played a heavy factor. Psychologically because now you have folks subconsciously comparing themselves to other people and its fukking them up. More so with IG now because they look and see their peers(and the entertainers they idolize) living it up on a day by day bases with stacks of money, gorgeous women, taking vacations, showing off cars while they struggling day to day.
