****.... idk
Tom Brady, Patriots, 2007
Regular season (16-0): 398 of 578, 68.9%, 4,806 yards, 8.3 YPA, 50 TD, 8 INT, 117.2 passer rating

Peyton Manning, Colts, 2004
Regular season (12-4): 336 of 497, 67.6%, 4,557 yards, 9.2 YPA, 49 TD, 10 INT, 121.1 rating

:pachaha: The FIRST year Brady got serious weapons, he literally blew the doors off Peyton's best season.(Still the second best season a QB's ever had)

More yards, more TD's, less picks, higher Completion percentage, Perfect record, and the GOAT offense:manny:

ARE U a retard?he blew the doors off his best season? he only had 1 less td ...200 less yards and a better qb rating without playing a full game....against a denver team where the next game he threw 4 tds and damn near 500 yards... :what: brady ran up the score ever chance they got in 07 and even yesterday lol at gronk getting hurt because of it :skip:

This is like the question people used to ask: Marino or Montana?

Marino was a better thrower but Montana was a better quarterback.

Peyton is a better thrower but Brady to me is a better quarterback because he makes better decisions on pressure situations. Peyton tries to make the spectacular throws in between defenders while Brady will just dump it off in the flat where there's a hole in the defense. Sometimes those throws Manning tries leads into turnovers or incompletions that kills drives and in the playoffs, that can kill your chances.

Guess you stopped watching football in 04 huh? :aicmon: This is the shyt that annoys me about the Brady riders....they act as if the last 8 years haven't occured. That nikka has had more than his fair share of fukkups in pressure situations in the playoffs and has forced more than his fair share of throws as well. Only difference between the two is that early in his career his team wasn't as dependent on him and there were no expectations for him and thusly he didn't feel compelled to force shyt like that and thus he made fewer mistakes in the playoffs and thus developed a rep as a clutch winner because of how good his team was overall. The more like Manning his load has become the more like Manning his results at the end of the season have become. Brady has done nothing as an individual to separate himself from Manning and vice versa. At this point it's just splitting hairs and fighting for your man crush.

No one's perfect breh. Brady has had his fair share of mistakes just like every other athlete, but if you compare their loses in the playoffs, Manning has underperformed a lot more than Brady.

From what I remember in Mannings playoff loses, he never gave his defense the lead in the 4th quarter in 03 and 04 against the Pats, 05 against PIT, 07 and 08 against the Chargers, and 09 against the Saints.

The only game that Brady hasn't given his defense a chance in the 4th was in Denver in 05, against Baltimore in 09  and against the Jets in 10. In other playoff loses (06 against Indy, both SBs against the Giants), not only did Brady give his defense the lead in the 4th quarter, but gave them the lead in the 4th quarter with 3 minutes left in the game :mindblown:

Manning's great breh, but in pressure games, I'll take Brady all day.

Brady had a chance in 06 to make something happen with timeouts and less than a minute left and what happens? A pick. You telling me Manning couldn't have done that? :heh: In the first Giants SB...30 seconds all 3 timeouts all you need is a FG...-10yds on the drive. Once again Manning couldn't have done that? In the 2nd Giants SB he had a chance to ice the game and flubbed a pass to a wide open Welker and then got nothing on the last drive of the game. Manning couldn't have...well you get it. The point still stands that the more Brady has been asked to do in order for his team to win the more Manning-like he's looked. The playoff numbers and record over the last 8 years spell it out. The more dependent you are on your QB the less likely you are to win...even in today's QB centric game that stands true.

matt cassel is getting runned out chiefs town. just a few years ago, pat stans were saying he was a good qb. they were comparing the situation to steve young replacing Montana :bryan:

Uhh, just a few years ago Matt Cassel made the Pro Bowl....as a Kansas City Chief.

We're gonna act like QBs don't regress? We're gonna act like defenses don't get better playing QBs after there's more film on on them?

The Cassel argument is the shyttiest argument you clowns try to make to shyt on Brady.

This!! Peyton is the more cerebral qb, but Brady definitely has better feel for the game if that makes sense. Personally I would take Manning but you really cant go wrong either way.

Colts were 26th in rushing the year the ONE YEAR(smh at even mentioning this bullshyt) they had Marshall Faulk. And that knee injury ruined Edge although he was still good afterwards.

Ironically the only year that they were even in the top 10 as far as rushing yards per game was the year Edge tore his knee.

They also were never that great in yards per attempt either, only once ranking top 10 in that statistical category as a team. (at least not since 2002).

Just wanna point that out.

EDIT: Edge himself was number 10 in YPC in 04 and he was up there in yards per game in his first two years as an individual. Faulk was 10th in YPG in his only year as well but those team stats were still the same.

:whoa:
Everyone is getting gassed by all these great regular seasons numbers Manning always puts up. You all will be brought down to earth again when the playoffs arrive and Manning chokes the Broncos season away - as he normally does in the playoffs.
