But if Russ was playing like a legit 3rd star it would lessened the issues for the roster imbalance.

Russ was ok on the Clipps cause he was coming off the bench and didnt cost much.

A lot of people feared Russ not working, but thought it would be more of a playoff issue. No one was really expecting him to be a washed regular season player. Ironically, kind of like DLO we thought he'd do well enough to carry us in the regular season for stretches.

And as the late great Kobe Bryant said...not everybody built to handle that Lakers pressure. Demar must be worried about being washed in a year :ehh:
lol this has zero to do with my post

Let that man defend himself :pachaha:

Ole Dr. captain obvious lol

I forgot DeMar deals with depression

that first klutch hit article from that cuck dave mcmenamin in december would put him on suicide watch. good idea to not come here
Im sure Lakers twitter would have been as merciful to him as they were with Russ if he played bad.

shyt you were offering Betterhelp.com type assistance to Russ before I even knew that was a thing :wow:

Was awful for the Clippers as well.. dude was benched just like he was as a Laker, averaged 6 PPG in the playoffs, and now they're getting rid of him after a season and a half too. Did they also do him wrong?
Awful overstating it. He was bad in last year's playoffs though. Clippers would honestly probably keep him but he wants to dip because eh wants a bigger role. He's going to leave and it's going to be all love.

There won't be a Klutch hatchet man (mcmennamin) calling Russ a vampire and all kinds of other stupid shyt.

Nah..and Im not sure that trade works.

If I knew Zo was healthy yea. However, he might be John Wall status. Lavine was more on a DLO level last year than the mid 20s scorer he use to be. So its likely a lateral move without a healthy Zo (again not sure how they make that deal work)

He averaged 6 PPG on 34 TS% in the playoffs. His regular season numbers were worse as a Clipper than they were as a Laker. He was definitely a bad player but it was less catastrophic for them because he was a bad player on a minimum contract instead of a bad player making 47 million per year. It was easier to play cats like Amir Coffey over him when he's not on a max.

Also not tryna pile on Russ but that's likely a spin so Russ could save face.. Just like the Clippers said Russ suggested to come off the bench when later reporting revealed he was not happy to make that move. Clippers should and likely do view Dunn as an upgrade over him which is they don't care to keep him.

Yeah it's apple to oranges because the role ended up being very different.

That 3rd year deal a mofo. However, it is wild how the Lakers have to give up DLO for a player like Derozan when teams like the Kings give up just Harrison Barnes.
