It was better. it is better. But is it fukked up that I probably bump HOE more often in recent years? It doesn't have as many classic songs, and it wasn't as revolutionary, but the dark as fukk vibe on there never lets up, and I thought Hav's beats and Ps's rhymes were both at their peak.

Definitely not a better album though, I agree. Infamous is probably my favorite rap album of all time. Definitely top 3.

I agree, P's lyrics and Hav's beats were top notch on HOE but I feel the same way about The Infamous having more classic songs and I feel like it has more replay value.

Prodigy is better at rapping then the following:

2pac
Ras Kass
Pharoahe Monch
E-40
Snoop Dogg
Kurupt
Jadakiss
Cam'ron
Styles P

Get mad over and over again.

I agree for the most part, but prime Kurupt and Jada are debatable.

yeah man. I mean Infamous is just untouchable. Survival of the Fittest, Eye For An Eye, Shook One Pt. II, Drink Away The Pain, Temp Rising, Right Back At You...there's just too many timeless songs on there. They were so fukking young too when they made that.

Even the damn skit after Start of Your Ending is classic.

Using my 6000th post to echo this powerful and (even though this word only has this meaning on the Coli) prolific post from @TheDarceKnight :salute:

Prodigy post Murda Muizk :usure: kiss would body him

but that old prodigy :blessed:

IMO post MurdaMuzik/HNIC era Prodigy does have some dope verses. But he's been real hit or miss. So much of it depends on production. That's why HNIC 3 was so trash, but Return of the Mac and Albert Einstein were both good. I thought that Bump Johnson EP sounded extra lazy, and I thought he'd sound more hungry after getting out of jail.

I thought P sounded way more energized on Albert Einstein than usual. P's story telling on Confessions is as good as ever. That new Mobb song Biology is maybe P's best verse since the late 90's. That's what makes it frustrating. You never know what you're gonna get. You might get some IMDKV shyt, or Waterboarding, or you might get something more lazy and generic like Stay Dope.

Kiss would probably body him on a song, yeah. But my thing is, where is Kiss' dope solo music in the past 10 years? Prodigy at least has return of the Mac, Albert Einstein, and a dope album's worth of songs between HNIC 2 and Product of the 80's.

The Last Kiss had some bangers on it. But it was 2009. Jada hasn't had 1 solo project since then. Emcee for emcee since 2000, I'll concede that. Jadakiss is the better rapper, bar for bar. But where's the music at? Especially in the last 10 years? I do like Jadakiss' verses on the new LOX mixtapes. He's good on those. He definitely hasn't lost a step.

I think it's this simple. They're both one dimensional. Which is fine. Kiss is a better rapper since 2000/2001, but Prodigy has made better albums and songs since then.

Daps and reps on 6000. I know I've had a few user names in the past year, but :salute: right back. Lot of good Coli brethren out there holding it down for the IMD.

EDIT: You must spread reputation to at least 30 other user(s) before you can give reputation to mobbinfms again. I got you soon though

Even crazier side more is that it originally had a different beat but havoc didn't save it and someone stole the reel. He said Puff was furious, threatening all types of shyt but he remade it and puff was happy with it. He said the first beat was way better but I can't imagine anything being better than what they did.

That picture is crazy. Is that from a show?

Damn Havoc lost that beat....:mjcry:

I think in P's book he said that the original beat was the I Love You Baby instrumental from Puff's album. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that that's what he said.

Mobb > Lox

Prodigy > Jada

And I love Lox and I love Jada but Mobb just got to many Classics for them to compete. Jada's solo career is actually on par with Prodigy's. I think they are pretty even as far as killing features. It's the Mobb material that separates them. With that said, Jada did get him on this:

So happy when this dropped:
