My comparisons always start with album discography. P wins that easily.
it all depends on what you call/how you define a lyricist....it seems yours defers from mine cause you seriously underrating how dope P was on the mic...he had more than just wow moments...he was consistently killing shyt at one point....that 3 album run of infamous, hell on earth, and murda muzik was that shyt...hell, it even extended into hnic too, but that's also the point when he started falling off hard....

Jada is ill, but how is this even a debate? Prodigy got one of the most recognized verses of all time (Shook Ones) and it wasn't no cornball pop/soft shyt either. It was a classic verse when rap was at its peak. Now how ill is that?

I'd say that Kiss and P are better than Styles. Jada was always the best one in the LOX to me. Styles is more like P, though. They both rap about the gritty, street shyt.

Yeah, I was on Kiss's side in this thread but I can't take someone's opinion on hip-hop seriously for saying some shyt like that.

Really interesting poll. This is a case where arguably the more "technical" rapper isn't going to win.
P has made better music, both in group format, and as a solo artist. If you threw on a classic beat and had them both freestyle for 40 bars, I would rather hear Jadakiss any day.
But P's verses on Mobb's albums are better than Kiss' verses on LOX's albums, and even though neither guy has a legit classic solo album, HNIC, Return of the Mac, and Albert Einstein are all great. Even Product of the 80's and HNIC 2 have a lot of great stuff on there.
Jadakiss IMO has one of the most disappointing solo careers in hip-hop. I guess his first album would be my favorite, then Kiss Of Death, but all 3 solo albums are pretty uneven. His mixtape with Green Lantern, The Champ is Here, might be his best shyt. Street joint, anthem, girlie joint, club joint, posse joint, down south joint, etc. HNIC is better than any of Jadakiss' solo albums, even though it ain't perfect.

Also, it would've been great for this thread if Prodigy hadn't passed on being on this song. One of Havoc's best beats, and he would've been in his prime on a song with a young and hungry Jadakiss. I think he said he regretted not being on there.
