Kiss has been the most underachieving rapper in the game. He's had all of the tools and could NEVER put it all together. There's been numerous features on which you forgot even had Kiss. Jigga made the OG Best of Me obsolete. Prodigy commanded tracks...as far as quotables, there's a reason he's the most sampled rapper. Their styles are different but P, especially prime P was Top 5 on the planet. Vivid, chillin, witty...and made great music. and even if you don't count his Mobb albums, his unreleased ish is better than most catalogs.

A more fair comparison would be Kiss vs Mef

J to the MUAH
Too many nikkas cool with the jake
Until you let them get aquanted with river
And make them cool with the lake

I got that UHALL flow, the way I move into your space
Bullet's like eye drops put two in your face

You aint never gonna touch the kid
Until they put me into the ground or until the feds cuff the kidd
Empty the pound on nikkas tear up your wig
Look down on nikkas, I looked up to big

Tims,Jeans,Hoddies,Army coat installation I gave ya'll nikkas inspiration

Pee's flow was just too cold in his prime. And backed by Havoc's orchestration, undeniable classic after classic was created. The unreleased Mobb alone shyts on most rappers released libraries. Jada a better rapper technically, but Pee brought the whole package.

They are decent, underachieving albums. Infamous is a top 10 album ever. Hell on Earth is a classic. Murda Muzik is very good. Kiss solos have all been let downs. I'm a Kiss fan but come on..

Name a rap album better than Hell on Earth, it's the highlight of this culture.

It should on be compared to classic music from other genres.

When Pac & Biggie died Hell on Earth survived and had the streets on fire it's the holy grail of Hip Hop.

Also, it would've been great for this thread if Prodigy hadn't passed on being on this song. One of Havoc's best beats, and he would've been in his prime on a song with a young and hungry Jadakiss. I think he said he regretted not being on there.

In his audiobook he said that he didn't do it because he thought Big was corny at the time. His ego robbed us of what could have been a classic, brehs. :mjcry:

Didn't even know Havoc wasted what would have been a classic Mobb Deep and B.I.G song for the Lox. :wow:

Hell on Earth 96-97 Prodigy would have took this song to the next Level....

Even crazier side more is that it originally had a different beat but havoc didn't save it and someone stole the reel. He said Puff was furious, threatening all types of shyt but he remade it and puff was happy with it. He said the first beat was way better but I can't imagine anything being better than what they did.

That picture is crazy. Is that from a show?

The Infamous was better than HOE.

It was better. it is better. But is it fukked up that I probably bump HOE more often in recent years? It doesn't have as many classic songs, and it wasn't as revolutionary, but the dark as fukk vibe on there never lets up, and I thought Hav's beats and Ps's rhymes were both at their peak.

Definitely not a better album though, I agree. Infamous is probably my favorite rap album of all time. Definitely top 3.

Nothing I love better than Mobb fans arguing Infamous vs. HOE.
You don't typically see heads arguing over which Jada solo is the best :lolbron:

That's probably the best evidence for our case in this thread too. Jay and Nas both said they knew they were top level when people argued over which of their own albums were better, not whether they were better than other people's albums.

For the record, i think Infamous is a better album. I just listen to HOE more these days.
