Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Niko Mirotic probably, and he was a 6th man when he was in the NBA

Definitely guys playing overseas that would be good role players in the league. But any high level player is already in the NBA
Kind of makes what they’re saying kinda silly when the best around the world already play in the NBA

I get the technical clarification but it just seems like a pointless trolling kind of thing to debate

Has anybody from the league even said he was technically speaking correct?

It’s not always about what you say, it’s how and why you say it.

If you say nikkas day everyday b, after your friends parent die - that doesn’t that mean that you’re technically wrong.

He brought up something nobody asked, he chose NBA which doesn’t officially have that slogan - that’s a media or team thing (even the owner designs and pays for the ring) - instead of MLB which has it, and he tried to shyt on them on the world stage. This is why people are getting at him. It’s called National Basketball League World Champion doesn’t even make sense, not even national makes sense since it’s 2 countries.

At the bolded :what: da fukk????

And to the second quote... You think those individual NBA teams are that good bro.

nikkaz can ball all over the world my guy.
It's just that the entire NBA has the greatest collection of talent.
But they are spread out on different teams.

Most NBA teams just have 1 star and maybe a second really good player. And a bunch of roll players who would still be regular players overseas.

It would be alot closer than people think.
Also, once you make the leagues more international, talented players like jokic or giannis would have more reason to stay in their country. And they'll be more competitive
But it’s not international. That’s the point. And nba scrubs go overseas and drop 28 pts a game regularly. The gap is pretty wide. It’s 2023 and the NBA is in the business of competition. There isn’t all this hidden talent sitting around the world. Yes there are plenty of guys around the world good enough to play in the nba. But they’re not budding stars and we all know that’s what it takes to win championships in this league, the best league in the world.

The NBA is where the world comes to play basketball. There’s maybe a handful of players in other leagues that could be rotation NBA players, but if you’re the best team in the NBA, you’re the best team in the world.
Simple.

Let’s take it further, the Denver Nuggets can’t call themselves NBA champions because they didn’t beat me and 4 of my guys at the YMCA
How can Lyes call himself a world champion when he didn’t even beat me in a race yet …he’s a illegitimate US representative until he laces him up with all American LeftA1 :hubie:

What NBA scrubs are playing international averaging 28 brother.

I'll put this even simpler.
If the best players overseas can come to America and be the best players here then that means the talent gap is closer than y'all think.

You got international players in our league telling people that the international game is harder.

Even if they are exaggerating alil. That still says alot

Jimmer Ferdette was dropping 38 a game in the CBA. 3 players in the top 5 in scoring in the Euroleage are ex NBA players. (16-17 pts a game but still).

Dzanan Musa won the MVP of the Spanish ACB 2 years ago.

Let me just exemplify how uninformed and ignorant you are with an actual use case on this topic.. not some bullshyt hypothetical “buhh buh maybe” nonsense you’re in here babbling

Anthony%20Parker%20HS.jpg

Do you know who this is?

I’m sure you don’t ..but this is Anthony Parker …Candace Parker’s big brother …and former 1st round pick of the Nets.

Anthony Parker spent his first 3 years in the NBA as a back of the bench fukking scrub burning out in Philly then subsequently getting traded to Orlando where he stunk it the fukk up as well and ultimately burned out of the league because he wasn’t good enough … now this isn’t some random that didn’t have expectations ..he was a former first round pick so he was graded as a high level player coming out of college yet he couldn’t hack it.

You want to guess what happened when this back of the bench player went to Euroball?

anthony-parker-mvp-final-fo.jpg

2x euro league MVP
3x euro league champion
euro league leading scorer

:mjlol:

from burn out scrub in the NBA to the best player in euroball … but goofy nikkas like you in here talking about “buhh buhh buh they not all all-stars” lmao .. shyt is just buffoonery at this point.

It's mind boggling how slow some of you dudes are. Everyone knows the NBA is the best basketball league in the world. No one is arguing that. The NBA champion is not the world champion because they aren't going out there and playing other country's teams. What we are seeing now with FIBA and the Olympics. Those are world championships. It's country vs country. The NBA isn't set up like that.

How is that hard to understand?
The players from those Country vs. Country matchups are already integrated and compete in the NBA ..it’s a globally integrated league matching the best from each country against each other ..which is why you get the term world champion…the best players from around the world are competing against each other how hard is that to comprehend for you slow nikkas lol

Let’s put it like this ..let’s simplify ..If they took all of the competitors at the world games that this Lyles nikka won ..and stripped them from being on teams based on national lines .. and just randomly distributed those same guys to generic Team A Team B etc etc and held the same events …would the winner of that of competition be the world champion or no?

It's such a stupid argument on the part of everyone dunking on him.

Bro wasn't speaking to the quality of the nba, which is the best in the world but rather on the accuracy

Of labelling nba champions as world champions, which internationally tournament did nba teams/winners play to earn that title

Argentina are the world champions by winning the most prestigious international title, the world cup.

uefa champions league is the best in the world but their champions don't go around claiming to be world champions

Not unless they win the club world cup ofcourse

Now if he said the USA men's basketball team were not the world champions then it would be a false statement tas they are the current holders of the international basketball tournament, the Olympics. The nba however is a national/domestic league and doesn't compete in international tournaments unlike the USA mens basketball team so he's absolutely correct

This shouldn't even be a controversial statement at all
You use too much robust logic for all these folks who are confounding the two notions he is talking about.
