Noah more than ever got pressure on him got to bring home some gold next year in Paris because this is the most eyes on him ever. Looking through the comments people were asking who he is, it's a shame he feel he got to do this because the majority of people don't care about track unless it's the Olympics.
I honestly dont think its a shame. To me it just makes bu$iness sense, This will not only help him but everyone else in the sport. It will draw more eyesballs regardless if he wins or lose, MORE people will watch to watch him LOSE.. There is a reason Usain told him keep doing him. I posted in the track thread when he won few days ago, it wasnt even on the front page of ESPN dotcom.. That is a problem.. He has to go money mayweather or something..
NBC needs to sell the next olympics, There is no Michael Phelps, No Usain Bolt, No Allyson Felix, etc. These billion dollar conglomerates have budgets where they need to forcast and park their money for next year. Mentioned earlier NBC had graphic for largest social media following and Sha carri was up there with 2.7 mil, Noah wasnt even on it and he is fastest man in world with both 100m and 200m title. Some might not like it but its the game we play, there is reason the rock gets roles even though he is not best actor, these companies know he has sm presence and he will WORK the project so they put money behind him. Will be interesting to see this play out as case study
