yep, these dudes don't get it, how much cojones it takes to do this. You have old mizzou players saying this has been going on for awhile but they just smiled and tap danced .

but these dudes took a stand and said no mas, it could affect their scholarships, could affect their job opportunities in the future whether professional football or a white collar job but they have cojones.

The only thing these people understand is money and power. Daps to the team and coaches for this. It's amazing that it takes college players to show the power athletes truly have. I still think every NBA team should have refused to play a single playoff game until Sterling stepped down or was forced out.

The players make the league work. Nobody pays to see owners.

Deep down, a lot of them players aren't about anything but a paycheck/their brand....we see it to an extent with the Olympics, but that shyt was very clear.

When it comes to taking a stand, you can't expect none of these nikkas who have gained things they stand to lose to stand up for anything.

They'll take some pictures, and post some hashtags and tweets tho.

Bruh, you can't necessarily put it on the schools. It takes money and even that's not enough for a lot of D1 schools. It's going to take players making sacrifices as well as alumni chipping in. They gotta meat each other half way. And it can't just be one school. You have all of these black athletes in southern states, that don't go to HBCU's. And it's not like they don't put athletes in the pros as well. There are simply too many misconceptions as well as self hate within the black community. No sense of pride and no sense of sacrifice. But like I said before, blame the parents and grand parents. HBCU's not only get pushed to the back of the bus when it comes to athletes but professors and administrators as well.

Dap & rep:salute:

Key word: sacrifice

You are 100% correct. Ive said it in other threads that the only way that we are gonna progress as a people is if we ON A MASS SCALE get to a place mentally where we are willing to DIE&SACRIFICE for each other and for the betterment of future generations. Its gonna have to start with a change in our own mindstate.

good stuff brehs. its time we recognize our power.

time to put the petty bs aside and unite for a cause. This is the great start of momentum now that the holiday season is approaching and theres a call for a boycott. Blacks spend $400 billion during the holiday season. We can learn a lot from these young men.
