These arguments end up being so pointless, because it all comes down to what the writer/the fans want. Reasoning doesnt play a part in this. There is no way in hell Batman should walk away with anything less than a couple missing digits and a body cast. Wolverine probably outweighs batman by lat least 100 pounds from the adamantium skeleton alone, has heightened senses and reflexes, and it takes nothing short of military grade C4 to stop him in his tracks. Batman cant keep up with that. Did i mention Wolverine doesnt get tired? No contest. Throw Bruce Wayne in the bushes.

The only chance batman would have IS to do research first, but like people said thats unfair because if wolverine cant research him first than he shouldnt have too.
