Ja rule cooked Marshall but 50 destroyed him. Ja atleast went out guns blazing and took his L. Drake fukkin sued their ain’t no coming back from that in my eyes. That pretty much cancels out all the diss records he did because now you think lawsuit. Like Drake sounds like a fukkin informant now talking all that you know who bang a set shyt on Family matters now.

People hated Ja way before the beef, when the beef happened everyone unanimously sided with 50 because we were tired of him, his gay ass music with ugly ass lil mo and ashanti.

Drake still gets streams on Spotify and still has enough anticipation surrounding his album with partynextdoor. There's no comparison.

Ja easily, the whole damn culture turned against that man because 50 didn't like him. From what I understand, Drake is still one of the most streamed rappers even after NLU dropped, Ja's popularity took a huge hit when 50 started mashing on him on wax....

Ja Rule is easily a much more respected MC than Drake (Loose Change >>>>> any Drake diss song) but Ja took the bigger L in his beef.
Completely different time & completely different audience. People like Drake, Cardi B, & Rick Ross's careers would've been over in the 90's-early 2000's if they got exposed like they did.

I voted ja but I think that was before these jew ass lawsuits came about :mjlol:

Ja still made music that ppl fw (never me tho, nikka was always whack to me), while drake is in desperate need of a hit. Funny thing is, by Massacre, 50 was doing the same shyt he hated on Ja for, singing on hooks, more R&B, etc.

The 90s and 2000s were when Juvenile, E 40 around and Puff Daddy charted regularly. This comment doesn't make sense

Drake, not even close.

Ja's fall off was already underway before it really popped off, he oversaturated the market with progressively cornier pop songs and the public got sick of him.

He definitely got sonned and was a joke for a while, but he was a joke for a while before the beef too.

New York was the best and most popular track he'd released in years and he was poised for a comeback. But the feds shut down Murder Inc like six weeks after that album dropped. It was a wrap after that. No more promo, no more albums. That's what killed his career.

Truth. Same exact path. Releasing progressively cornier versions of earlier hits that was corny to begin with. Amusement Park :mjlol: equivalent to that Ja and Ashanti song with the Grease video.
