honestly, when most people order well done, most professional chefs/cooks assume its either old people who have no/barely any teeth and cant chew..

or, people who dont know how to order food properly..

the simplest, non-cooking person on the planet can make a well done steak at home by accident.. it taste terrible.. theres really no way around it..

I prefer my steaks medium to medium rare, however, I don't begrudge anyone for how they like their food.... and a well done steak can be executed and taste ok if its a good cut of meat and seared well.... Well Done does not have to equal burnt..... but a lot of people like it burnt as well.... :manny:

My girl likes hers medium well but I been gettin her more into medium...I'm a medium rare man myself. Grew up on medium but had to make the switch once I was awakened

Medium well has no flavor whatsoever comparatively, don't be scared brehs

just to go on record. I was raised to order well done as well. But I got put on to ordering medium in my 20's by my friends who went to cooking school and I never looked back. Everytime I go to a nice steak house with my pops I try to put him on, but he won't go past medium well. If he see any pink at all he won't touch it.

But me, I don't even have steak sauce in my house, who needs it ?? :blessed:

never said well done is burnt.. well done, is basically- over-cooked..

you can burn meat, and the insides not burnt.. burning something isnt a task, whatsoever..

I eat medium rare. But traveling a lot it is best to get that shyt done medium.

I was in china and a mothafukka cooked me a medium rare steak. That steak was blue rare like that picture. I was like naw take this back....matter a fact make that shyt well done...:russ:
