Jared Goff, and he's been #5 for two years now.

The four mentioned in the OP are the only people I can confidently say are playing the quarterback position better than he is, and frankly I think Goff's played the position better than Mahomes has THIS YEAR.

However, Mahomes is Mahomes so he stays at #1 :hubie:
ppl disrespecting goff

Purdy has done more than Goff.

Goff has a career rating of 95.7 in the reg. season and a 5-4 record in the playoffs, 88.4 rating in 9 playoff games.

Purdy in his career has a 104.9 QB rating, 4-2 in the playoffs with a 96.2 rating. One of the two losses he only played a quarter in.

The contracts some of these guys like Lawrence, Kyler, Herbert and the like have are wild. I think Herbert could still figure it out but it's been several years of disappointment.
It was great timing for him.

The NFL was still in that Arena Football phase of inflated stats. Average QB's were throwing for 400 yds because defenders weren't allowed to sneeze on receivers.

I do think it’s funny that according to some people Herbert was “tired” from the fires meanwhile Stafford played “inspired” from the fires.

You see that?

Don’t use tragedy to bolster your argument for a QB, it’s dumb.

No one serious is saying that. Stop using ridiculous outlier comments to try and paint some narrative.

Goff has the DETROIT LIONS being talked about as a Super Bowl favorite in the Year of Our Lord 2025.

THE DETROIT LIONS.

I don't feel the same way about Burrow as those other 3 I'm gonna be real with you. I've seen those other guys, void of talent around them, single handily win games. I don't think Burrow could do that. However what he does do, which is get the ball to his playmakers with precision, he does better than anyone else right now, although I think Goff does the same shyt.
