Another debate worthy question. Seeing how the last thread on Jesus (ISA) in Islam pretty much ran its course:
Let’s go back one step further and look at John the Baptist...... but from a Muslim perspective
I just stumbled upon a really good video on the topic
He’s a really complex historical/religious figure and interesting story if you really get into it. Most seem to ignore it today.
So Thoughts? Open to Muslims (and Christians Jews or whoever else really cares to weigh in).
Seems to me John the Baptist and his own sect of followers was instrumental in the development of Islam’s views on Jesus or at least an Influence in the thought of some early Christians who were viewed as Heretical.
ESPECIALLY considering the point made at 1 hour 18 minutes to 1:19:30 seconds in.
But I digress

but that’s why I know that when they commissioned the Septuagint they were fully aware of all the Egyptian myths and still wrote it in a such a way that it is hidden.
