No mention of Lord Yeezus?
stop it
Im talking whos hip hop's prince taking into account what he represented in his associated genre
5 songs shows that he can rap. His music history shows that he is a part of hip hop.
Kanye is a Prince candidate as well and yes he is more of a Prince of Hip Hop too.
Main reason why I push of Pharrell and Kanye is because one of Prince biggest skills musically was his skills in multigenres. Thats one of his defining traits.Hmmm Kanye got me thinking now you know breh. Those effeminate outbursts and emotional ramblings are very Prince-esque.
Nah fukk it I'm sticking with Based God, Prince was all about empowerment of the individual and never sold out like Yeezy. That's the embodiment of the Based God. It's gotta be Lil B.

How can you call a rapper Hip Hops Prince if he dont do multigenres once in awhile?
Kanye also did 808 and did it good. In fact that pretty much pushes him the closest to being Hip Hops Prince.Kanye is Hip Hop's Prince
It's not 1 or 2 songs that define him, it's his sound
Plus he was instrumental fashion-wise when he blew up
Guys wore baggy jeans & white tees...Kanye came out with the fitted clothes and brought polo back...challenged the fashion standard at the time just as Prince did
Plus, he worked with other artists (Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Keyshia Cole, Brandy, etc...) just like Prince (Chaka Khan, Vanity 6, etc...)
What good is creative genius if you keep it all to yourself and not collaborate?
In addition, everyone thought Kanye was gay until Amber Rose...just like everyone thought Prince was gay...but they both were misunderstood...they were just coddled by their mothers growing up
Both from the midwest
Both have multiple classics under their belt
There would be no Drake, Bryson Tiller, Tory Lanez without Kanye
There would no Dream, Alicia Keys and countless other artists without Prince
In addition, it's pretty cool that Kanye has sampled Prince in his production
They have multiple parallels
