LOL I would never, EVER think of Dre as the "Michael Jackson" of hip hop, or Dj Quik the "Prince" of hip hop. I don't even think there is a Michael Jackson in hip hop/rap. Just a Prince. Like I stated in my original comment, Quik has some prince likeness; such as the perm, and ability to compose music and play instruments, getting fukked over by profile, but that's where the similarities end. Prince was way more left field, provocative, thought-provoking, and was a huge trendsetter, and even iconic figure for his time. 3 staks and Kanye are the only two current figures in hip hop which directly represent all of what I just named. Quik hasn't quite pushed the envelop far enough to be considered in the same league as Prince. He's interesting, but I just can't equate him to prince. The way Quik be kissing Dre's ass in interviews, I highly doubt get on stage and do Dre like that. Perhaps back in 90s, early 00's, but not now.
