What I’m trying to figure out is if my packet is ready. I have some of everything in there and I’m going back to have it all looked at again before my VA physical. I’m trying to take everything...If what you are saying about the Duke/CVRJ/MMBJ/Thor :russ: is something I damn sure got that. I was actually the trainer for those systems something called a Crew master gunner. I already have ED that’s how I got my cialis/viagra scripts.
The VA doing it or did they send you to an outside doctor? If it's an outsider, you good as gold. I damn near pretended to be a paraplegic when I went for mine. Took all of 15-20 minutes. 35 days later, lump sum hit the account and I been chillin since

Just now filed my claim brehs. I'm going for adjustment disorder and tinnitus/hearing loss. I'm about to go back to the thread to read through the comments, but I am nervous about the whole process. I'm not sure I'll get anything, but I'll try.
they won't give you shyt for hearing loss unless you have a hearing device. I got ringing and all kinds of shyt. Got nathan. Same goes for everyone else I know but the guys who had hearing aids

I'm not sure. I just assumed like with anyone else it's the Docs that work in the hospital on post and the VA rep here in retirement services.

You should qualify for Voc Rehab. That will pay for your JD. I applied online about a month ago on that VA website, got an interview tomorrow

I will definitely update what information I got afterwards
Yo, how did your Voc Rehab interview go? Mine is on Friday and the folks keep warning me that JD's rarely get approved, especially with me having a 4-yr and currently working on a Master's in Poli Sci/IR. Trying to get into the Human Rights legal field so hopefully they'll ride with me on that and approve it

Just sharing some stuff old heads shared w/ me

The Veterans Affairs Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD) - page 1 of 3 • Military Disability Made Easy

Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (eCFR)
Study this and pay very close attention to everything that you plan to file as a claim. The write up in your claim and from the doctor should be worded the same as in the 38 CFR based on the percentage that is parallel to how you feel at this point in your life... Keep in mind that your health doesn't get any better as you age especially after serving a career as a Soldier... Play around with the chart and percentage ratings based on where you feel that you should be in comparison with the 38 CFR...These are the tools that the VA use to rate your claim.

It went well, got approved. Unfortunately , had some personal stuff come up that kind of put a temporary halt on things. There is no reason it should not be approved, especially seeing that you a have a concrete plan and are about it :salute:

Hope it works out for you. Especially going the JD route. Not sure on the Masters and above level and how Voc Rehab deals with that.

Adjustment disorder isn't bad, but they will run it back if you get it. A lot of times AD is temporary, and that's why they changed my shyt. If you get it make sure you go to doctor's appts in and outside the VA

Call Military One Source and ask for MH assistance. The can help, and you also will get it put in your Medical Record. More paperwork, the better

I was in the same spot as well, get treated. Do t let anyone stop you. fukk that stupid “You’re a p*ssy if you go to Sickcall”

The military owes you. It is not an easy job by any means

Honestly, I can't tell you that. I would be completely honest during your psych appointment. Even shyt that you might be embarrassed to say. They fukked with me a lot during my time, and I confessed everything 3 different times, and I got what I got today. That's only advice I could give you on that front sir.

Pretty sure this is probably already in here
I’m going to read through all of this

But anyone in here file a claim years after discharge. What’s the chances of it being approved:ohhh:

Are you willing to go through an intensive in house treatment in the Hospital? If you are you'll get all the help you need.
