I fukk with Kendrick but he just hasn't been around long enough for this to even be fair.

Granted, I'm biased since I grew up listening to Nas albums, but still.

Im not the biggest fan of either of their catalogues. But acknowledge both have put out some great music here and there. But Nas musically is very similar to Kendricks as far as content. Both are lyrical, and both are also poetic in their style. Kendrick to me is a little more focused on the poetic side of it,where as Nas is more focused on the technical side. With Nas being so much better on the technical side,i dont see how this could really be a discussion. Since both of their styles are lyrically driven. Unless you just love Kendrics music that much more, which i dont. Im more of a casual fan of both id say. But bar to bar,Nas outclasse Kendrick. And before anybody says "bu bu but what about Pac?". Yes Pac is my goat, and nas is better technically(lyricism). But Pac is as far beyond Nas in catalogue as Nas is beyond Kendrick when it comes to bars. Plus Pac and Nas didnt have comparable styles, and Pacs music wasnt lyrically driven.

Its an unfair comparison in my mind cuz Nas played a huge part in the golden era

Iww illmatic and his guest parts on other albums ppl consider godly

His beef with jay gave us better tracks than the drake beef

Nas has more quotables in his discog and he has a better voice to match the lyrics

I wont say kendrick isnt dope af and tpab is one of the goat albums but Nas takes this one

There is? :mjlol:

Have you listened to KDIII? It seems like you haven't. Not a single bad song on it. It's easily more consistent than Damn and Mr. Morale. I find GNX more consistent than those, so that's probably the best competition against KDIII, but I still prefer KDIII.

Hitboys beats were consistently boring maybe. But that's about it. While kd3 may not have a single bad song. It also didn't have many great songs. I would say "Get Light" was the only great beat on that whole album. Everything else was forgettable. Hitboy will always be a B level guy. Which is why barely anybody uses him anymore except for Nas. Most of his beats are repetitive, dull, and horribly mixed.

Absolutely NOTHING on kd3 compares to the heart part 6. Hey now. Wacced out murals. Tv Off. Reincarnated. Duckworth. Fear. DNA. Feel.

Even the highs on Mr Morale are far better than the highs of kd3.

Count me out, N95, rich spirit, savior>>>>>Kd3

And the most importantly, Kendricks pen is better than nas's at this point. Nas is still dope but nowhere near his prime level. Kendrick is superior is every aspect. Which is why even Nas acknowledges that Kendrick is the current king of the rap game.
