I was a payless kid and HATED it I remember 7th grade my mom bought me this brown pair of shoes that Shia LeBeouf wound up wearing on Even Stevens and I was getting clowned relentlessly for them it probably wouldn't have seemed been so bad if they weren't so recognizable. I wound up "leaving" them in the locker room and somebody either stole them, threw them away, who knows

Idk what they did with them but them shyts WERE seriously old when my pops got em for me. They weren't in a box or nothing. They were sitting on a table with a bunch of other shoes connected by zipties. I'm guessing he saw them going for cheap and rushed home to pick me up and go back for them as a surprise. I let him down

Never gave a shyt about shoes. I was a Payless kid and I'm proud of it . I don't get the point in spending ungodly amounts on something you wear on your feet. I WILL say... Once I reached college I got heavy into Nike tees (the type you could really only buy online down here) and New Era hats. I kicked that Jordan bug like a decade before tho

She also gave me a big ass crate of her old Jordans when I could fit them. It had all the iconic colorways and shoes 4s, 7s, 11s , 13s, etc just like everything and I used them as play shoes and destroyed them
