Upgrading my Dual core AMD64 2.6 ghz with 4 GB of ram

I only download Blu-Ray rips that are like 8GB and up in size. It was all gravy for like 2 months, now they just don't play without messing up. I haven't been on the Plex forums lately but hopefully someone over there can tell me why it worked before and not now.Damn, hate to hear that.
i believe all mine are encoded AAC
I had to travel a lot for work a few years back and had movies on my ipod that i would use the TV out function to watch while on travel.
I still use the same program and setup for newer items
