You think that nikka deserves an Unsung episode?

Course he does, he pretty much is the personification of what the show is about, someone Unsung.
You still gotta be someone who was on some level of reverance... Unsung is mostly artists who made big waves and had big hits but over time haven't been as revered as others. Like, there'll never be a Whitney Houston Unsung, or a Jay-Z Unsung... but there'll also likely never be a Christion Unsung or an O.C. Unsung. To me, Rick James is kinda pushin' it, but most of the artists they feature are ones that everyone knows but don't always have their stories told in documentaries and such (i.e. Whodini, DeBarge, Bobby Womack, etc...). K-Rino is like, waaaay low on that totem pole, lol...
If rap is basketball, K-Rino is Manigault. Sure, Kareem can say he's the best he ever played against. That being said, he never made the pros or stole the show on the big stage or got that chance to play against the legends... and so, yeah, he's unsung in many ways. But he's also unsung because he never made it big enough to have his praises sung in the first place. Every region has a K-Rino, to be fair. But given the context of this show in particular, would K-Rino be an artist up for discussion? Probably not.
It's not a knock on him. I'm just saying it's highly unlikely.
K-Rino can walk around any mall in America besides maybe the Galleria in Houston and won't have to worry about anyone recognizing him or asking for an autographIf rap is basketball, K-Rino is Manigault. K-Rino has a HUGE level of reverence, he is hugely revered, and is Unsung. He is a Hip Hop pioneer as he released 1 of the first records to come out of Houston, if I'm correct the 2nd. He is the founder of the SPC and is revered, admired and respected by artists such as Scarface, Bun B, Z-Ro, Trae Tha Truth, Killer Mike, Willie D and could go on for days. But a program like this would be absolutely made for K-Rino. Cause you don't know or like him doesn't mean he isn't a legend, a lot of people see him as a straight up certified legend. Scarface said he was the best rapper from Houston, Bun B said he was the greatest battle rapper ever, Z-Ro said he is the hardest rapper period, Killer Mike said he would put him on his greatest list. He would be the absolute perfect candidate for the show.
this reads like hes more of a local underground legend. nobody is dissin k-rhino. youre just taking the term "unsung" too literally breh.
unsung is really just code-word for huge acts whose legacies were either brushed aside because theyre black or because theyre not cliqued up with the right people behind the scenes.
to take it further, you mentioned AZ & kool g. rap, and i'd love to see those but i doubt we'll ever get an episode on them. and theyre much bigger names than k-rhino.
check out the list of episodes. practically everybody that had an episode was HUGE.
He's not just a local underground legend. I just mentioned a few names that were relevant as his episode would also feature him talking about being a Houston legend and pioneer also. As that's 1 of the imprints he made. He also has done shyt on a worldwide basis, still doing international tours. I don't see why they have to be a huge act, K-Rino's legacy was brushed aside or tried to be stopped because he was pro black, the nation of Islam, beefs with local radio and other aspects. No, I agree with you, I didn't expect a K-Rino episode, I just said it would be dope, as would AZ and G Rap, I don't expect them either unfortunately, but G Rap should be a name in consideration.
