I don’t know how many avid Martin fans there are in HL but that situation is like that one bit when Gina tells Martin about a friend of hers whose BF “was at the store looking at magazines” for a week without coming home. To which Martin responds by saying that there’s great stuff in that aisle. When Gina asks if he condones the behavior, he responds that he certainly doesn’t condone it, he understands it, but doesn’t condone it.

From the current democratic pool....its Cory Booker. When you look at all the other candidates its like goddamn poison. Its more of an internal Democratic issue then it is a "Trump can't be beat".
He might not be as charismatic as Obama, but he is more charismatic then Joe Biden.
Joe Biden has the advantage of being a moderate, old white man that white voters won't feel threatened by.
Sorry but there's just no way Cory Booker would beat Trump in an election. I'd love if he could but it's just not happening. Trump got more votes than any Republican in history.

Out of the current possible dems.....Cory Booker is the man. Kamala is aweful, Elizabeth Warren is off putting, Bernie Sanders just can't do it, Tulsi Gobard is all over the place, Peter Buttmuncher is gay.
People came out in droves to vote Trump out....thats why the turnout for the 2020 election was so high. Biden got the most ever votes that a presidential candidate has gotten.

Obama only won because the political environment in 2008 favored Democrats. The GOP was unpopular at the time due to the Iraq War. Not to take away from him, but any Dem would've won that year.
If you had Obama vs. Trump in 2022 I'm pretty sure Trump would win, sad as it is to say.

I think I came up with the ideal Dem ticket for 2024. Sherrod Brown and Julian Castro. Brown has a record of being a progressive leaning (for US congress) politician, is from the mid-west not the "elite coasts", and has a down to earth appeal. Castro would be the first Latino veep, and obviously be a draw for that population. I think it's perfect! Which is why it would never happen. But I think they would have an excellent chance to win against whatever garbage the Repubs run.

The political climate in 2024 is gonna be way diffrent then what it was in 2016 or even 2020. People born in 2006 are gonna be able to vote and alot of them republicans gonna be dead. They ain't interested in voting for dying cacs. They gonna be interested in people who speak about AFFORDABLE housing, education DEBT, healthcare and LIVING WAGE. out of the possible nominees from the LAST election cycle....Cory Booker is that guy....who else y'all picking from their last lineup?

Yeah, you are downplaying Obama win in 2008. Seems like you just don't think any Democrat can win. its Always the political enviroment, which get a president elected. Trump only won in 2016 because people saw him as the anti-politician, he was talking about "draining the swamp", "building a wall" and other shyt. Dems are their own worst enemy....get nancy pelosi and all them other old heads out. Got ol folks trying to pick candidates that young people will vote for.
