If we hear about the Knicks looking to trade for a Jae Crowder then the situation with Quinten Grimes is really bad. Until then only thing the Knicks can do is wait it out. A perimeter defense of Grimes and Barrett (who moves to second perimeter defender) changes our whole landscape.
I am telling ya’ll keep an eye on Delon Wright and Kuzma. The Wizards upcoming schedule is even more brutal than the Knicks, both their contracts equal Fournier’s, and they fix some of the issues we keep seeing (defense and rebounding). Plus I think they’ll be gettable for cheap.

If a star isn’t available…. Still got to look to improve.

Kuz ain’t really a fit on our team he’s a small ball 4 and we already have Randle (especially) and Toppin taking up the bulk of the minutes there.

Delon doesn’t move the needle much just that he can be a point of attack defender on point guards but even there our rotation is also deep with guys who need minutes.

I don’t really see rebounding as an issue we are more than fine there we won’t face Steven Adams every night.

But we have to defend better on the perimeter and off screen and we need to shoot the ball better.

Kuz can play SF because he is a combo forward, he can defend, and shoot the three. He’s a better fourth option than Fournier, and potentially could push RJ to the bench if Grimes comes back.

I do think rebounding is a big part of this teams identity. They rely on a transition offense and how do you do that without the rebound

Delon would probably come in and be the backup pg and can also play next to IQ because of height.

I’m sorry I couldn’t think of somebody who you identified as a big dikk….

He hasn’t played the 3 in years :manny:

His defense is solid on the switch but playing the perimeter full time I don’t know.

I think we’re a fine rebounding team we don’t need to add that.

There is no way in hell RJ is going to the bench.

Ain’t no way the organization allows Thibs to bench RJ, especially now that they are paying him 27 million a year.

Jesus Christ, we lost 2 games to 2 top 15 players in the league. I know i was wylin for saying we’re gonna be a top seed, but we’re not barely a playoff team either. RJ will get better as the season goes, Grimes coming back will have a huge impact on this team defensively and IQ needs to get his swagger back.
