Cam Reddish denies he is seeking a trade from Knicks
Cam Reddish has landed outside the Knicks’ rotation, and he possibly could be headed out of New York.

dont say this on twitter. nikkas will swear he's prime pg being hidden.Cam just ain’t it there is no market because he’s a bust.
Knicks fans stay having soft spots for bums.
I don’t see how RJ forcing shot when he doesn’t have it is any worse than Cam and Grimes splitting his massive amount of touches when they seem to be far less tunnel driven (preseason excluded). That's probably the worst offense in the league. It's defensively sound with the same spacing issues and replacing the third-option with a dude that broke double-digit scoring 7 times in 20 appearances while averaging over 20 mpg.
Cam's not there. Killian Hayes' leap in Detroit is more believable than his.
Put it this way...would you rather have the RJ from the second-half of last season, or the Cam Reddish that we got this season? Because That RJ had a bigger sample size of MUCH better basketball than what this Cam has given us. Cam's flashes have just been flashes. Nothing more and nothing less. He's a ton of potential that we're not sure will ever be realized.
If RJ keeps sucking it up, fire Rose, get rid of him. But Cam isn't the solution or replacement. Do the Kuzma trade @Wargames has mentioned if you want to move on from RJ (and be prepared to lose hella draft capital in the process of dumping the 100 million dollar contract and acquiring Kuz). Hell...see how cheap Kelly Oubre is at that point. I'm not a Oubre fan in the least, btw.
Lol no y’all are selective with who y’all want to kill and there’s love for players who fit a certain mold especially those who get the “defensive” or “hardworker” label.Knicks' fans have a soft spot for Knicks' players, bad to good. Because we are a loyal bunch.
Since we are not executives or coaches or owners; that is standard for fans who enjoy rooting for people.
Man just stop it like you watch other teams like that NBA rotations don’t work like thatThat's how smart coaches work
Who did we not like?Lol no y’all are selective with who y’all want to kill and there’s love for players who fit a certain mold especially those who get the “defensive” or “hardworker” label.
The Knicks fanbase is toxic. We are stuck paying $120M to an awful basketball player and y’all rode for him. These are decade defining decisions. The fact that a large portion of the fanbase is constantly on social media defending players like Ntilikina, Reddish, Knox, Barrett is laughable.
RJ went 4-13 had 4 turnovers got mad at a ref in the fourth which caused him to get a Tech and then got benched by Thibs.?
What did he do?
I’m not moving on. This nikka been some shyt. It’s been 25 games now. Beating a hungover Cavs team and a Hawks team missing 3 fukking starters doesn’t make me feel better about the fit of this roster.RJ went 4-13 had 4 turnovers got mad at a ref in the fourth which caused him to get a Tech and then got benched by Thibs.
This becomes a bigger story if we lost this game but we move on
Cam ain't built to take those shots. Grimes is doing just fine with RJ. RJ had 13 attempts last night, and Grimes had 11. Grimes is averaging 8 a game now and that should go up. RJ averaged 16 attempts before Grimes started, down to 14 since Grimes began starting. The shot shares will level out. It's not as simple as "take this guys shots and give them to that guy." There's a reason players' efficiency tends to dip if their usage jumps.I don’t see how RJ forcing shot when he doesn’t have it is any worse than Cam and Grimes splitting his massive amount of touches when they seem to be far less tunnel driven (preseason excluded).
We keep waiting for THAT RJ to come back and at this point it’s looking like we might not get that version of him next to Brunson who’s usage is way higher than Kemba’s/Alec Burks’ from last season. RJ is the weakest link. By a straight mile… I apologize for this coming off as a Cam thing. I know that’s my guy and all but it’s not about him specifically. He just so happens to be on the roster as a big wing this team needs. But replace RJ with any other average small forward and this team is way more enjoyable to watch.
ESPN had him mic’d up he was tight in a 4-man huddle talking bout “we can’t beat a zone without moving the ball” probably because they wasn’t swinging it to his bum assRJ went 4-13 had 4 turnovers got mad at a ref in the fourth which caused him to get a Tech and then got benched by Thibs.

And I'm not entertaining Cam taking those attempts, because he had his shot. He was starting with RJ. Grimes is more assertive, and we're already seeing him take touches away from Barrett. That's why Grimes snatched that starting spot with the quickness, and the more we see of it, the clearer that's gonna be.
As far as waiting for RJ. Compare RJ through 25 games last year to this year. He was at the same FG%, averaging less ppg and apg. His TOs are up which is a problem and three-point shooting is way down. But we've literally seen this type of struggle and then a big turnaround. That's a big difference from waiting for a Cam Reddish with a career-best 11 ppg when he played 28 mpg.
But if it's "replace RJ with anyone" that's at least a discussion to be had. Because a Kuzma in his spot would legitimately be interesting. An Oubre might not be bad though I think his numbers this year are inflated by how bad Charlotte is (this is a guess...I don't watch Charlotte games often enough to judge fairly). The difference is upside. Your team is supposed to be better when you replace a 22-year-old's usage with a 27-year-old's.
My problem with cutting ties after 25 games is then you DEFINITELY shoulda never paid this dude. They had no business playing hardball over Donovan Mitchell if they'd be ready to dump him off after struggling early. I'm down to see if he can replicate what happened last year. I think Grimes will help him by taking some touches and creating more transitions thanks to his defense. We already paid the kid, might as well see if he can figure it out. The long term upside is way too good compared to the other scenarios.
Tremont just gave a perfect example with the Grizz, sit down somewhereMan just stop it like you watch other teams like that NBA rotations don’t work like that
There’s plenty of players like Cam around the league not playing duke ain’t nothing special
This is that toxic coach scapegoating bullshyt
The example was shytty I don’t know what he talking about.Tremont just gave a perfect example with the Grizz, sit down somewhere
