We've seen enough of Thibs to know what kind of coach he is dawg

Everyone knows his shortcomings I don't know why you acting like you don't know that he can only take you so far

He got undressed in that Heat series the Knicks had better players they should've won that series.

I mentioned Lue because he wants out of the Clippers situation cause he's tired of Kawhi's bullshyt. Ty Lue is UNIVERSALLY RECOGNIZED as one of the best coaches in the league
Then so is Thibs…

In the playoffs your best players should be prepared to go all 48 especially in do or die situations.

Spo has played LeBron James and Jimmy Butler all 48 minutes.

Historically high level players average 40 minutes in the playoffs it ain’t no thing.

This is how I know y’all copy the same generic talking points and run them into the ground.
i agree with you that ty lue ain't the one
but at some point, thibs gotta go.
i will say he made progress as a coach last year, did a lot of shyt he never did before, so im gonna see if he progresses further next season.

But his limitations could easily prevent us from winning a title

This team is not even close to winning a title so I’m not sure why you’re thinking that and surely it isn’t coaching the reason this team isn’t close to winning a title

well that's the ultimate goal nikka
For me atleast.
So we need to start putting everything in place
We shoulda beat the heat and didn't,
i seen mike malone make adjustments to the heat zone after 1 game, i didn't see thibs do shyt.

Obi was right to ask what's wrong with this nikka lmao

i highly doubt he would know what to do with a championship level team.

Talent wins championships first and foremost.

Thibs ain’t at fault for sub-30% 3PT in a series. Open jumpers clanked. That’s what beats zones.

“We shoulda beat the Heat and didn’t” bullshyt we shouldn’t have done shyt we’re not that team where we should do anything. We are not on the Heat’s level of continuity or experience, we had injured guys, and we don’t have a two way force like Playoff Jimmy, Heat played us to the wire all season and ended up in the Finals beating the top seeded Celtics, and they took a game off the champs they ain’t slouches. This Heat core has been in the Finals or ECF for several seasons in a row so no we shouldn’t have beat them. We could’ve and didn’t.

We not gonna sit here and pretend Mike Malone is now a better coach than Thibs because he happened to win a championship with an All-Time center.

Let’s read shall we

Reddit, is Michael Malone a good coach?

“Nick nurse is an amazing coach. Mike Malone is not. The in game adjustments are terrible and he is slow to call a timeout at times when teams go on a run against us. I like Mike, the players like Mike, but if we don’t go to the conference championship or nba finals this year, I think they need to heavily consider finding a new coach. The Jokic window will not be forever.”

“The general consensus among most Nuggets fans: great culture guy, the players seem to love him. Bad at Xs and Os and in-game adjustments. As Van Gundy said the other night, they are the best offense in the NBA when Jokic on the floor and the worst when he is not. That would partially imply that Malone is too reliant on Joker’s ability to run the offense. With that said, I don’t actually know enough about Coach Nurse to have an opinion on who I’d rather have. However, if Malone was fired, then yes, sure, Nurse would seem to be a top candidate given his previous ring as a coach.”

“He is phenomenal at building culture and getting buy in from the players. He is terrible at in game adjustments and rotations. Way too stubborn and relies on his favorite vets to the point where it hurts the team sometimes. He’s definitely a decent coach in this league but Jokic has hidden a lot of his flaws”

“Ik I’ll get downvoted and called a doomer for this but Michael Malone CAN NOT COACH BASKETBALL!!! He lucked into coaching one of the best bball players in the world, he is the worst coach in the league at drawing up out of bounds plays if you need a last second shot it’s gonna be a Jamal heave/fadeaway or a Jokic fadeaway, he’ll let the corpse of one of these 30+ year old players die on the court before he plays any young guys (D Jordan, Facu, IT, Jeff green, etc) and let young guys go to other teams (vando, Beasley, bones, ihart, bol) even this season where we’ve struggled on defense Malone insisted on playing davon reed over Christian Braun. Malone is talked about a s a defensive coach but none of his teams whether here or sac have been good at defense or even tough, finally it hasn’t mattered who Malone has had on the court w/o Jokic they look completely incompetent and lost most of the time, if offered Malone for Nurse I would take it in a heartbeat”

Everybody thinks their coach is bad, that's why I don't take these debates too serious. Coaches can be 2 years removed from a championship and considered "bad" by their fanbase.

Somewhat relevant:

We all agree Spoelstra is the best coach in the league and he hasn’t won a title since Lebron left. Roster >>>>> coaching. If Frank Vogel can win a ship, so can Thibs.

Serious question - when is the appropriate time for a fan base or an organization to start questioning a coach and their ability?

Since Thibs criticisms is all generic bytching and cliches that can be applied to any head coach to the homie @ISO, there's a whole Reddit thread is dedicated to question Malone as a coach, who's been coaching the Nuggets since 2016, and Ty Lue thinks good coaches are just being fired left and right for simple mkstakes, what point is it actually fair to assess or compare previous experiences/behavior and question someone's ability to succeed without it just being mindless complaining? Without it being management scapegoating the coach?
