What exactly is a showcase in your opinion? Obi didn’t rot on the bench collecting DNPs. He played plenty. He has film. He has playoff film. He has extended end of season film. Thibs did the most they could without sacrificing wins in his eyes.

Playing 8-12mins a night isn't a fair look or assessment as to what he can do. I don't even know how you could even say that watching the games. Thibs still played the starters (particularly Randle) a high amount of mins that could've went to showcasing Obi for a trade partner. There were PLENTY of games where Randle gave half ass effort & flat out sucked but Thibs stayed with him like an idiot. We still don't even know how good Obi can be & that's a testament to Thibs mismanagement of the whole situation
