Who we should get?
I don’t know cause we don’t know who is available.

Without that information, I would say take a flyer on Johnnie Bryant. I like the fact he has been around a lot of good coaches and deserves a chance to move up. He’s been the associate coach for Snyder, Thibs, and Atkinson and I could see him being willing to keep some of Thibs staff.

If Thibs isn’t hired elsewhere move him up to the FO. Move all the assistants who don’t stay with Bryant to the FO. Thibs deserves to stick around just like the Celtics did with Stevens.

If not Bryant then they should do a search and find someone. We need a good X and O’s coach on this team.

Aaron Gordon was the functional center on offense. Something Josh Hart is too small to do. Draymond Green was the functional center on defense. Something Josh Hart is too small to do. PJ Tucker at least took and made corner threes. Something Josh hasn’t been doing this season. I’ve said here that if Josh was 6’8 he’d be a hall of famer. He’s a fukking dog. He also is holding back THIS team as constructed, back.
Stop it. Hart does a lot of things well himself.

Tucker shot 32% on 2.6 attempts in 30 minutes in the Bucks run. His three ball is a farce you sag off and live. Josh does way more than he does.

He’s not holding the team back. Back from what? A championship? Get real.

This team is not a championship team it has no transcendent star or depth. The holes are glaring, there’s been injuries, and while we have talent the very best teams have more.

Let’s stop the scapegoating this team is as good as it’s been in huge part because of Hart. Hart has been more consistent than Anunoby and Bridges. Bridges deserves a lot more criticism. Hart has been our third best player this season.

I actually hate dudes cornball personality but he’s a dog and has been a great Knick since the day he got here.

This is lazy arguing and you’re making the argument for us. We have no generational talent so that’s an excuse to be beholden to suboptimal lineups Josh hart are on cause of bias to rebounding. Thats even more reason you lean into bolstering the effects that Brunson and Kat have as elite offensive players.
The nikka has a larger leash than actual hall of fame players and I’m supposed to think if we get the right roster pieces they would magically be prioritized and used adequately?
That nikka draymond got benched in the finals :mjlol:
I still think we need another jumbo wing and another ball handler that isn’t short but I have no faith they’d be used appropriately. Even when we were rolling with Donte in January games thibs would close with Josh hart for absolutely not reason other than “rebounding” lmao. Josh is an nba player, he’s just not a 38 minute a night player. And even if you wanna play Josh that much you can exploit teams for guarding him with centers but thibs doesn’t have that measure of creativity. Put the cape down for him just cause he’s better than coaches we had before lol
Josh was good cause of the pieces around him, not cause he simply is just “like that” but now that teams are scheming against his weaknesses overtly you see what makes a him a sieve against teams with coaches who have 2 functional braincells

“The holes are glaring” but he’s mad at us for identifying one of the most glaring ones…

Lol the constant ragging of Hart and Thibs is so tired. Bridges bytch ass has been much more problematic cost us a haul to shoot 35% from 3, be ranked as a mediocre defender, shyt on the coach publicly, and then not even have teammates back. The Chipotle eating fakkit just skates.

Cost us 5 picks and crying about playing 37 minutes a night and the fans defended him :mjlol:

Can’t wait for us to get rid of Hart and Thibs. Hopefully y’all get y’all wish so we can see all this unravel. As always ima be the first nikka to remind yall. :umad:

Knicks fans don’t deserve good things.

Hart’s minutes should be cut in half so we can watch Landry Shamet brick more wide open threes. :mjlol:

We should bring in a first year head coach so he can be fired within 2.5 seasons :mjlol:

Who do you think them nikkas are? Seriously lmao
Thibs the guy who has 9 more losses than wins in the playoffs and Josh the guy who’s never contributed to winning basketball in the nba until last year lol
If you think those two are the difference between the rest of the roster and the organization falling apart we watching two different sports bro :laff:
nikkas wanna keep the devil they know cause they ain’t used to competency. I need a chip, Josh playing 30 minutes aint doing that and thibs ain’t either. If you scared say that

lol I’m done with this conversation

66 games in and we doing shyt like this and we will never earnestly look at the coach? Actual brain dead sim to end lineups.
More minutes of Josh, precious, Mitch but a real 5 out AGAINST THE WARRIORS??? Nah.

A more forward thinking coach would have had OG playing the 5 :manny:

Thibs just signed an extension that expires in spring 2028. Not going anywhere and hard to believe Hart is too.

Mikal not having his best season could be a blessing since I imagine he’ll sign an extension this summer.

The guys under contract are what we’re going to work with for the foreseeable future, but it’s important they draft well, play those guys and plug the right depth pieces in.

Hope they can find some inexpensive gems like they did with iHart but time will tell.

:what:

OG playing on one leg

You want him boxing out 7ft'ers?
Im specifically talking about the Warriors matchup a and I'm only talking a few minutes at most not starter minutes at that spot. Warriors starting center is Draymond who's 6'5 and their backup is Quentin Post who only shoots threes

Josh has contributed to winning basketball since he landed here.

Thibs has never had a championship level roster. He has maximized every team he’s coached.

Warriors are 14-2 since acquiring Jimmy. We weren’t going to win armchair head coach moves wouldn’t make a difference. OG does not rebound. Y’all think y’all solving problems, but you’re creating others.

OG has never been used as a center is it because those other coaches he’s had aren’t forward thinking? shyt this the most PF he’s played in his entire career.
