If the reports are true that Obi team leaked that video to force their hands they are about to get a rude awakening when it comes to Leon Rose. That old ass man is slow as fukk and is not going to trade an asset to just trade an asset.

Leon is going to watch Julius ankle carefully before he even thinks of making a move.

Obi has been mad all year (Remember the altercation with Rick in the beginning of the year?). He’s going to have to suck it up.

That being said when Obi does get traded pencil in that team vs us. That Julius vs Obi battle is going to be a movie

Randle doesnt need to play as much minutes that he does when we had obi..especially not this past season..Obi showed he was more than capable.

and mayb randle doesnt get hurt or choke in da playoffs if he's more rested. Thibs minutes management is horrible and now we are losin obi with randle coming off a surgery.

ALL NBA players aren't playing less than 33mpg.

The idea that an all star should be playing less so his back up can get a "chance" ain't how professional coaching works.

How do y'all brehs think Kristaps will do on Boston. I'm not looking for a right or wrong answer, just what y'all think .

so what y'all think KP could potentially mean for Boston ?
It's always been the same with KP, he's extremely talented but still held back by the same issues he's had since day one. His main issues are 1. he's injury prone and 2. he's a bytch :manny:

Last season with Wizards was the first time since his second season with Knicks that he played 65 games and averaged 32 minutes. Finally didn't have a major injury but he was still lacking stamina and having issues brining the same energy in consecutive games.

Being on Wizards helped hide his bytch made tendencies. Wizards were happy to win 37 games and Beal and Kuzma only care about jacking up shots. With Knicks he was crying about not getting enough love but also about being the guy with Melo shipped out, on Mavs he cried about Luka being the guy and having to stand in the corner.

So lets see what happens when pressure ramps up again in Boston and his performances get scrutinized. When Jaylen and Tatum look him off or yell at him for not boxing out or closing out.

This narrative again?

Julius doesn’t even average 36 minutes a game

Rose may be cautious at times, but he's not stupid. He isn't Sean Marks.

You’re right but Obi is watching IQ get an extension and guaranteed generational wealth. Meanwhile he can’t get minutes to get his money and if he does it won’t match his talent. No player wants to be a good value player. They want to get paid

I definitely don't disagree.

But he's ceiling don't really seem higher than John Collins at this point.

KP is about to be in for a rude awakening once he puts on that Celtics uniform.
And the fans. I Can't wait.

im not talkin about all players
im talkin about julius randle

If you look at the ALL NBA list, most those players do load management. They literally get rest days for no reason. That adds up in da long run.

We do not do that, so if he's gonna play every game, we need to manage him differently, and since we have other options, its stupid as hell not to take advantage of that
