This is exactly why we say what said about Thibs & his coaching. Who would wanna play for a coach like this? It's a shame the way the FO has allowed him to handle Obi. Thibs could've built up his trade value this season which would've helped in this draft

Right. Thibs is a dikk, but Obi’s biggest flaw is he’s not a rim protector, and that’s the only way he woulda got minutes, as a back up center. I don’t think the shyt was personal. I’ve seen Knicks fans saying we went up more for Knox and Frank than we did Obi but that’s just a testament to how honest those arguments were. We weren’t just saying to play the kids for the hell of it, it was just that there was no one in front of those two that genuinely deserved more playing time than them at the time. Randle clearly is better for the team than Obi. Both in the short and long term.

Randle doesnt need to play as much minutes that he does when we had obi..especially not this past season..Obi showed he was more than capable.

and mayb randle doesnt get hurt or choke in da playoffs if he's more rested. Thibs minutes management is horrible and now we are losin obi with randle coming off a surgery.
