Y'all act like Spo isn't a top 2 coach in the league. Who isn't Spo coaching circles around? Another coach MIGHT do better but let's not act like Thibs didn't also coach circles around JB in round one.
Y'all keep making this point but refuse to point out that this team, while good, wasn't on the level of Denver and maybe not even Boston. Thibs wasn't perfect in the playoffs, but he was FAR from the only one and there were several important players on this team who played worse than Thibs coached.

Spo could have been fired many times over throughout his career.

Who's going to play Defense? Rebound? I just don't see no balance, no bench. Who they gon sign after 80% of your cap is in 3 perimeter players. Other "superteams" had balance with the offensive fire power. Like Rodman with MJ and Pip, and all 3 where great defenders, Golden state had Draymond and pre-injury Klay was a problem on defense.

The new owner trying to make a splash so let him . As is pertains to the Knicks I rather stand pat than half measure. And plz Knicks Management stay away from KAT unless we just giving up randle and barret. I edited my post to clarify this particular player Beal's contract and no trade situation is not worth it. Any other deals errbody on this Team not named Brunson is on the trade menu. And remember we bungled the Carmelo Deal by not making the move at the right time.

What realistic trade do you think makes the Knicks appreciably better?

What fukks the Knicks over is Barrett is just a guy out there. For them to take the next step he has to be an All-NBA type guy
