@ comparing a solo artist and her clones to a team... as if Aaliyah had a group album with her clones. Groups like SWV, Black Stone, Destiny Child, Total, 702, Envogue should be compared to teams, not a solo artist.

Grant was one of the handfuls that was Next in line to carry the league. AAliyah was one of the young RNB singers next in line to carry the genre.

Both Laid Back, Non Divas.
Both grew up middle class..
Both had ties to famous ppl. Grant father was A Football player, Mom's was a politician. Aaliyah's uncle was a manager, and managed R.Kelly, Her aunt was Gladys Knight.
