Assuming he's taken over ALL of Pope's business ventures (we can assume he has no other next of kin other than the daughter that Tig killed), he's got quite the number of legit business ventures. most likely even though the niners had no reason to kill her cause the sons had no reason to kill the niners at that drop off especially after seeing how the niners had them under pressure the season before for killing popes daughter.

This just reminds me of how much useless fukkery goes on in this show. shyt that don't even matter to the plot of the show in the grand scheme. Sutter just trolls the show with random fukkery. So much over the top violence, you have no choice but to be desensitized and unaffected by what are supposed to be important & critical moments in the show. Mass murders all willy nilly. I remember when it was a huge deal for Jax to actually kill somebody period.

I don't think they are violent enough...Also, their motives are always "good" or unintentional collateral...Like the prison guard who shot Bobby and Juice ran over...
These dudes might as well just be doctors, lawyers or engineers, because they obviously follow the Hyppocrates oath of "first do no harm"...
Compare them to Shane and The Governor of The Walking Dead...Shane killed the fat guy, because that was the best way he was going to make it out of there are alive, there was no debate of right or wrong or any other BS...It was survival of the fittest...
The Governor does he has to do, and if you are in his way...You get bodied...he doesn't make plans that will make sure that everybody is happy and comes out on top, like Jax is always doing...
We don't ever feel sorry for the people the Sons kill, because the writers are always setting up those people to be "monsters" and the "innocents" are accidental deaths...

Time of death and lack of any murder weapons will get him off for this.

That's the whole point of the show. Jax wants no part of the old ways. Clay was the dude killing his own members and anyone else he didn't fukk with
