Italian food in Italy is different than what they serve in North America. Especially in Lombardy/Tuscany.

I’ve been to Italy and in the non-touristy parts. Italian cuisine in the north isn’t too different from Swiss cuisine. Not great.

Granted, I haven’t been to the South. Too racist.

I don't know either that well myself, spent most of my time in the central regions, didn't have any problems when I visited the North or the South. Same vibes, but I prefer the South. Closer to that mediterannean feel, and less uppity/trendy.

Nah Mexicans can cook they ass off lol, But for the rest of Latin America the best foods have West African influence to your point. The Mexican food with African influence is probably in the Veracruz area as that had the largest number of Africans I believe.

I'd agree with Italy, but Chinese and Mexican are legit. Arab/middle Eastern ain't bad either. All three definitely has more flavour than Italian

My mom went to Rome during the summer. Rome, Greece then Turkey.

Not only did complain about the crowds and heat, she said the food was trash. like the just put sauce on food then called it a day. To be fair my mom is bougie as fukk, she got the money to act that way. Her friends said she was making those waiter sweat. To her surprise, she liked the Greek and Turkish food more. She said the only thing Rome good for were old streets, leather jackets/belts and wine.
