To a woman I’m not surprisedAll of them
No it does not.Guys
Im pretty sure if you deal with the dealership all problems will go on your cars history which can lower resale value
They probably have a record of the maintenance at the dealership. So it could be the case if you sell it back to them specifically. But i doubt if you take your car anywhere else to sell it would be a factor. If i sell to a dude on craigslist he's not even gonna know what dealership i use to contact for a maintenance record, if they even share that with random inquirers. No it does not.
I do this for a living. It does not. I wish it did tho. They probably have a record of the maintenance at the dealership. So it could be the case if you sell it back to them specifically. So worse case scenario it effects your resale value with 1 customer, that particular dealership. Which basically means it doesn't effect your resale value
here's a fun experiment, pick a valvoline close to you and look at it on google street view. i guarantee you there's gonna be a trail of oil going out the bays onto the road, from when one of their "techs" forgot to tighten down the drain bolt causing the engine to grenade. hiring unqualified workers is part of the business model of places like this/jiffy lube/midas, they set money aside in advance for settlements to buy customers new engines cause it happens so frequently. imagine letting a minimum wage high schooler perform surgery on what's probably the most or second most expensive thing you probably own brehs, couldn't be me.I only do non dealership for oil changes and tires. Valvoline Express Oil Change is my goto. Discount Tires for tires. Dem Groupons for Full Synthetic.
there's no excuse to not own diagnostic tools, a shytty code reader that works for most beaters is literally $2 shippedlol niggs what exactly are you finna do? You don’t got any diagnostic tools to call cap on what they’re saying nor can you stop them from breaking something during a repair
I used to be one of those minimum wage highschoolers, and i did that at least once on accidenthere's a fun experiment, pick a valvoline close to you and look at it on google street view. i guarantee you there's gonna be a trail of oil going out the bays onto the road, from when one of their "techs" forgot to tighten down the drain bolt causing the engine to grenade. hiring unqualified workers is part of the business model of places like this/jiffy lube/midas, they set money aside in advance for settlements to buy customers new engines cause it happens so frequently. imagine letting a minimum wage high schooler work on what's probably the most or second most expensive thing you probably own brehs, couldn't be me.

Part of my job is Fleet management. You're not talking to your girlfriend sir. I manage a fleet of over 30 vehicles.
And my fleet people are male and that didn't stop us from getting screwed. dikk doesn't stop dishonesty.
In fact, once I took over I went and personally introduced myself to all our mechanics and take my personal vehicles to them and haven't had a problem. Something the 4 male managers could not achieve.
It's 2024 sir. Not all women are stupid and incapable.
You didn't have to. It was clear from the way to phrased your statement.Hence why I said they will “assume”. No one said women are stupid or incapable.
I fux with this... And dikk obviously doesn't stop dishonesty because we wouldn't have this thread.
But you didn't kill his point tho.
Do you know anything about cars?
Mechanics still will mostly likely try to finesse a woman because they're gonna assume she has no understanding of vehicle maintenance
