I think the main issue people have with bi-racial relationships is when they are seemingly created out of self-hate. For example, with this topic i see that the main issue is that people feel that she ended up marrying an average white guy not because he was the best choice but because she looks up to white guys as being superior to black guys. I agree with this notion only if that was proved to be the reason.
We do not truly know the reason though. I will say its a little disappointing to see a childhood black female icon get married with an average cac..and it kinda makes you wonder, although in the end it is truly none of our business
