Is what Nadal, Federer, Djokovic do more impressive than what Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Albert Pujols do?

Hitting a baseball at one hundred miles an hour. You have to be born with a god given talent for.

Returning serve at 100 plus is childplay to hitting a baseball at 100 mph.

Hitting a baseball at 100 mph is the hardest sporting activity on earth tbh.

Hitting a 100 mph Baseball is easily the obvious clear choice here. Plus the most difficult between the two to do.

You will need to provide some clarification around the question - are you speaking about what the average person would find the hardest, and you mentioned the word "returning" in the thread title, does that mean you're saying not just hitting the tennis ball, but returning it back over the net in-bounds?

The latter is an important distinction, because that requires a lot more actions than just simply hitting a baseball.

Baseball pitch. People don't realize that's the ball speed BEFORE it hits the ground so it slows down a lot.

The same clarification needed for baseball because is it just ticking the ball or actually hitting a ball fair and with decent contact? :hubie:
